Garage Hive is a UK garage management system for independent garages and MOT centres. Its published price, as checked on 18 July 2026, is "starting from £145 per month with a one-month rolling contract". That entry figure is the only price on its pricing page: there are no named plan tiers, no per-user rate and no setup fee stated alongside it.
Motion Bookings starts at £39 a month per garage location and publishes all three plan prices. This page compares the two on what each vendor actually publishes, with a source link and a checked date against every Garage Hive fact, including the ones where Garage Hive matches us.

The pricing page is short. It gives an entry price and a contract length, and directs you to book a demo for anything more specific.

Where Garage Hive does the same thing we do
A comparison table that only lists things the other system lacks is a sales pitch, not a comparison. Garage Hive is a capable, well-established system, and on the two features garages ask about most it covers the same ground we do.
Its own site describes online bookings taken on your website or a standalone page, integrated with the schedule and creating jobsheets, and automatic SMS or email reminders for MOT, service, timing belt changes and follow-ups. If those are your deciding factors, both systems will do the job and the decision comes down to price, contract and how it feels to use.
What we could not verify
Third-party blogs and directories quote Garage Hive entry prices of £99, £109, £145 and £200 or more, sometimes adding Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central licence costs on top. We found four different figures in one afternoon, so we are citing only the one Garage Hive publishes itself and ignoring the rest.
We are also not claiming anything about what a Garage Hive installation costs in total, because the vendor does not publish tier prices, per-user rates or setup fees.
